DOMINIQUE TURNER

Dominique Turner is a seasoned documentary filmmaker with years of professional storytelling experience ranging from editorial to branded content. Her work tends to center on people of color who have extraordinary stories to tell. She’s tackled issues like, civil rights, criminal justice, and race representation in her stories.

She’s inspired by the stories of everyday people who overcome extraordinary feats. Dedicated to telling compelling stories that move audiences, she seeks to tell the truth while celebrating black culture. During her time at CNN’s Great Big Story, she rose to Producer in 3 short years, where she started as their first intern during her senior year of college.

While there, she was able to produce some of her most proud work to date. When she’s not creating compelling content, she’s busy caring for 20+ plants as a self-proclaimed plant mom and running her side business, Living Single 365 an events company for singles. She now freelances for publications like Black Excellence to continue telling the amazing stories of people who look like her.
